FAQ
Some Questions And Their Answers
If the nbn® antenna on your roof is a diamond shape, it will need an upgrade. Some other types of antennas may also need an upgrade. We’ll let you know when you’re signing up whether or not your equipment needs an upgrade. All upgrades are free.
The new version of equipment includes:
- An nbn outdoor antenna which will be mounted on your roof to transmit the signal from the nbn tower to your premises, and
- An nbn connection box similar in shape and size to your current device, which will transmit the signal to your connected devices.
In most cases, you will not need a new WiFi router, and your current one will work fine. Not all routers support the speeds delivered with our Home Fast and Superfast plans, so it may need and upgrade.
If you need a new WiFi router, you may purchase a high-quality one during the signup process (from $69), or you may bring your own router.
Most connections are completed within the hour, however in some rare cases it may take up to 24 hours to complete the connection process. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way!
You may cancel your Fast, Local nbn® subscription at any time. Your service is billed monthly, however please note we do not provide partial refunds if you cancel your service before the end of your billing cycle.
All of our support is located right here in Coffs Harbour. We value personal, local connections, no overseas call centres here!
Nope! We’ll cancel your service with your current provider as part of the connection process. Please make sure you are not in a locked contract before placing an order with us so you don’t have any unexpected fees from your previous provider.

*Tier speeds are the maximum possible download speeds available during off-peak periods. Fixed Wireless speeds are variable and can be impacted by congestion. Actual speeds can only be determined after your service is activated. Speeds experienced may be slower due to external factors including signal interference, weather conditions, the signal strength or obstruction of the antenna’s line of sight to the tower, tower and network capacity, vegetation, geography, built obstructions, radio frequency used and internal factors such as a poor-quality router, wifi interference from electrical goods, the type and source of the content being downloaded, how your device is connecting to the internet (when using WiFi, you may experience slower speeds than what can be achieved by connecting your device(s) with a network cable), or old house wiring. We can work with you to help you find what may be causing these problems and suggest ways to fix them like where to place your modem/router to
get the best performance.
