Ensure your nbn® modem/router has a phone port (FXS port) or that you have a compatible ATA. If you don't have one, we can supply the suitable equipment.

Do I need nbn® internet to get an nbn® home phone?
Yes, our nbn® home phone service operates over your nbn® internet connection. You'll need an active nbn® internet service, with Solitary Technology for the best experience, or another provider.
Can I keep my existing landline phone number?
Absolutely! We offer free number porting, allowing you to transfer your current landline number to our service seamlessly. The porting process typically takes about one week, depending on your old provider.
What equipment do I need?
You'll need a compatible nbn® modem/router with a phone (FXS) port. If your current modem doesn't have one, you might need an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) or a new modem. We can help you with this.
What happens to my home phone during a power outage?
Since the service relies on your nbn® connection, it will not work during a power outage. We recommend having a charged mobile phone for emergencies. If your nbn® service is experiencing an outage, or is not working for any other reason, you will not be able to make or receive calls. We can setup a diversion to your mobile in the event of an outage.
Is the call quality good?
Yes, nbn® home phone services typically offer crystal-clear call quality, often superior to traditional copper lines, provided you have a stable internet connection.
Can I use my old phone handset?
Yes, you can use your existing corded or cordless phone handsets by plugging them into the phone port on your compatible nbn® modem/router or ATA.
