First things first, the vast majority of routers come with these settings as default, and if you are having trouble connecting, the first thing to do is a simple restart.

If that does not work, then you will need to log into your router’s administrator panel through the default gateway. The address for this will vary depending on your manufacturer and model of your router but will usually resemble something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1

These settings will often be located in “Quick Setup” or the “Internet Settings” pages in your router.

DHCP/IPoE with no username and password

DSL Mode/Interface Type – Ethernet WAN

VLAN ID – No VLAN ID

Obtain IP Address – Automatically

Operation Mode – Wireless Router Mode (if available)
