What is Fibre to the Node (FTTN)?

Fibre to the Node (FTTN) is an nbn® connection technology where fiber optic cables run to a nearby node or cabinet, typically within 300-500 meters of your home or business. From there, existing copper wires connect the node to individual premises.

Most premises in Coffs Harbour use nbn® Full Fibre (FTTP), however it is common to see Fibre to the Node connections in Bellingen, Woolgoolga and Nambucca Heads.
